Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming industries, driving innovation, and reshaping global competitiveness. Its potential to enhance productivity, improve decision-making and unlock new economic opportunity is vast, but realizing these benefits depends on having the right trade and regulatory environment. Clear, interoperable rules for cross-border data flows, intellectual property protection and standards development are essential to foster trust, reduce friction and enable scalable AI development and deployment. As policymakers consider new frameworks for digital trade and emerging technologies, it is critical that business voices help shape them.
ICC, the US Council for International Business, and the Boston Consulting Group are convening business leaders, policymakers, and WTO representatives at an invite-only Breakfast Roundtable on the Intersection of AI and Trade Policy. This will be an opportunity to share perspectives and identify priorities to help unleash the benefits of AI innovation.
The event will take place at the BCG offices. A breakfast buffet will be provided.
