Organized by the ICC Italy, ICC Canada and ICC Brazil National Committees, this comparative panel explores the growing intersection between joint venture arbitration and corporate arbitration, focusing on how disputes arising from joint venture agreements, SPAs and shareholders’ agreements differ from inherently corporate disputes, such as those involving bylaws, corporate resolutions, and claims between shareholders and directors.
Using Italy, Brazil, and Canada as case studies, the discussion will highlight key structural and procedural differences across jurisdictions.
The panel will be opened by welcome remarks from representatives of the organizing ICC National Committees (Giacomo Rojas Elgueta, Craig Chiasson, and Silvia Miranda). It will feature presentations from Angelo Anglani, Myriam Seers, and Gabriel Costa, and it will be moderated by Julie Bédard and closed by Ulrich Kopetzki.
